Days 1-2: Fly to Hanoi
Board your flight from London to the vibrant city of Hanoi, you are free to explore the city depending on your time of arrival. You will be met at the airport by your Local Guide or National Escort.
Day 3: Halong Bay Overnight Cruise
Visit Vietnam's most famous bay, Halong Bay, it shares a common border with China and it has some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. Its clear emerald waters and unique rock sculptures create an enchanting and timeless world that amaze thousands of tourists every year.
It's a two and a half-hour drive from Hanoi to Halong Bay, where you will board an overnight cruise to explore the entire bay. You can enjoy lunch on board whilst you stop at an anchor for various afternoon activities. like exploring underground caves on the islands.
Day 4: Return to Hanoi
You will spend the morning sailing along Halong Bay and later disembark your cruise and return to Hanoi.
Day 5: Explore Hanoi and Hoi An
You are free to explore Hanoi today, you can explore Hanoi's Old Quarter which is packed with charming colonial architecture, temples and pagodas. One of Hanoi's most common sights are streets packed with scooters, bikes and cars dodging pedestrians, along with bustling markets at every street corner. Expect to find plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants, boutique shops and galleries in this area, you may also want to taste some traditional Vietnamese coffee.
There are lots of different sights to explore in Hanoi, visit the Ho Chi Quarter to admire the Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum or drive to the Temple of Literature, Hanoi's first university.
In the evening, you will board your flight to Danang and be transferred to the picturesque city of Hanoi.
Day 6: Hoi An Cooking Class
Hoi An is a charming, traditional and laidback city, the picturesque streets are lined with traditional Vietnamese lanterns. It is known to be one of the prettiest cities in Vietnam and the Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as it has over 800 historic buildings, and the city can make you feel like you have stepped back in time.
Hoi An is located along the Thu Bon River and has an array of bars, cafes and markets, this city is known for its delicious and vibrant food scene! As well as that, there are various museums, ancient homes and temples to explore.
Day 7: Travel to Saigon
You will have the morning to finish exploring Hoi An and grab some last-minute souvenirs before flying to the vibrant city of Saigon.
Day 8: Mekong Delta
Also known as the 'Rice Basket of Vietnam', you can take a trip to Ben Tre to cruise along the Mekong where the rich and fertile lands produce rice, coconuts, vegetables and tropical fruits in huge quantities. Glide through the Mekong is your very owned palm line canal and blend in with the locals.
Day 9: Cu Chi Tunnels
Here you will see the legendary tunnel network used during the war by the Viet Cong to infiltrate South Vietnam. You can explore Saigon and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Reunification Palace and browse the lively Ben Thanh Market.
Visit the Saigon Opera House in the evening and be mesmerised by the spectacular music, dancing and acrobatic performances.
Day 10: Saigon to the UK
You will have the day at your leisure, before boarding your flight and arriving home the same, or the following day.
