The Woodland Glade
The Woodland Glade Park is located in the grounds of Grade I listed Browsholme Hall Estate, in the heart of the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The Woodland Glade Park is made up of 4 individual micro-lodges, all completely self-contained with a double bed, an en-suite shower room, a kitchenette, and a living area with a sofa bed. They are situated in the middle of natural oak and beech woodland and are the perfect choice for a unique getaway for small families and couples alike. Here at Woodland, you can relax away from the real world with no TV’s or Wi-Fi, you can spend your time unwinding and explore the woodland surrounding you.
Location & Attractions
This area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is full of hidden gems waiting to be discovered! Browsholme Hall is a nationally important Grade I listed historic house and is the oldest surviving family home in Lancashire. Guests of Woodland Park are invited to share in Browsholme’s rich history with a tour of the Hall and picturesque gardens. The on-site Tithe Barn Tea Room is an ideal spot to drop in for a light lunch or afternoon tea, or you can venture off-site and visit some of the award winnings pubs and inns nearby!
For those looking to explore, the ancient market town of Clitheroe is a 10-minute drive away where you can find many quirky independent stores, and there is a variety of walking and cycling routes around the Ribble Valley and the Forest of Bowland. The Yorkshire Dales National Park can be reached from Woodland Glade in 45 minutes and the Lake District National Park is an hour drive away for a day out.
